Concert Dress and Cameras
Black concert dress.
Ladies; long sleeved black tops, long black skirts or long black trousers (ankle length in either instance), black jackets and gold scarf.
Gentlemen: Black shirts, trousers and jackets with gold handkerchiefs.
Note to all: if it’s very cold then please make sure that any extra thermal layers are under your clothes.
ii. The ‘full’ cameras will be on and therefore may catch sight of any of us at any time so please follow the dress code, smile, and please no chatting on stage or clapping at the end unless we are sitting.
iii. Please follow Veronica’s instructions for getting on and off the stage and do so promptly. There’s nothing worse than people coming on or going off in dribs and drabs. once assembled on stage at the start, keep your eyes peeled for the signal to sit - again, try to do so together.
iv. Most importantly - ENJOY! - Almost all of us have sung this many times before, it’s a great work and we have fantastic soloists and orchestra.
WhatsApp Groups
These are proving very successful on the whole. They are a great way to keep in touch and to be told of last minute changes or members’ news. However, could we ask that you keep the social chat down a little so that the important messages don’t get lost?
If you’re not on your part’s WhatsApp group yet then have a chat with your part rep.
