Music for a Summer’s Evening
An evening of beautiful Summer music, with a medley of part-songs, madrigals and musical theatre, complete with a dash of jazz in Bob Chilcott’s ‘Little Jazz Madrigals’.
Pre-concert light refreshments will be served from 6.45pm, and the concert starts at 7.30.

Handel’s Messiah
We are joined by Florilegium to perform Handel’s Messiah, together with a world class line up of soloists. This concert will be very popular , so please book early for the best seats.

Verdi Requiem
A thrilling evening when we shall perform the Verdi Requiem together with the BSO and additional members of the Bournemouth Symphony Chorus . A world class line up of soloists join us. This is bound to be a superb evening, so be sure to book early for the best seats. Tickets on public sale from January 25th.

A Classical Christmas
We are joined by ECO to perform Beethoven’s Mass in C, followed by a Bach's gorgeous Advent Cantata 'Wachet Auf!' (Sleepers Wake!) and a selection of Christmas carols for both choir and audience.

A Summer Romance
Our New Hall Summer concert features music with a hint of romance - Lambert’s The Rio Grande, Brahms’ Liebeslieder waltzes and Bernstein’s West Side Story suite. Expect to be tugged at the heart strings! The concert will be followed by drinks in the Warden’s Garden.

Baroque Masterpieces
We are joined by world class ensemble Florilegium and five outstanding soloists for our Spring concert, a feast of Baroque Masterpieces. Bach’s exuberant Magnificat and Handel’s uplifting Dettingen Te Deum will fill the nave of Winchester Cathedral with the sound of baroque trumpets, timpani and exultant choruses. The choral works will be complemented by Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No 3, and Handel’s Organ Concerto ‘‘The cuckoo and the nightingale’, performed by George Castle.

St Nicholas
We are joined by the English Chamber Orchestra and four outstanding soloists for our ever popular pre-Christmas concert. On this occasion we present a double billing of St Nicholas: Haydn’s jubilant St Nicholas Mass and Britten’s evocative narration of the story of St Nicolas of Myra. The concert will open with Haydn’s uplifting symphony No 30 ‘Alleluia’ .

Brahms German Requiem
Brahms German Requiem is one of the pinnacles of the choral repertoire and we are delighted to visit Christchurch Priory to perform this beautiful work, with the BSO under the baton of Charles Stewart, together with soloists Miku Yasukawa, Soprano and Thomas Butler, Baritone.

Come and Sing!
A wonderful opportunity to join with the Waynflete Singers in a workshop on coronation-themed music, including Zadok the Priest. We shall also rehearse and sing Parry's I Was Glad, followed by a concert performance.
The workshop will be led by Andrew Lumsden, inspirational Director of Music at Winchester Cathedral, with organ accompaniment by George Castle.

Coronation
Music for a Royal Occasion: a jubilant programme anticipating the coronation of King Charles III and reflecting back to Elizabeth II, including works by Walton and Elgar. With the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and a stellar line-up of soloists. View Event

Gloria!
A seasonal programme featuring English Christmas music by Vaughan Williams and Finzi, as well as Dvorak's melodious Mass in D.

Mahler Symphony No. 8 (Symphony of a Thousand)
