We are proud to announce that members of the Waynflete Singers have been invited to join in Mahler's 8th Symphony together with the Bournemouth Symphony Chorus, the Philharmonia Chorus, the orchestral forces of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, a boys’ choir, and eight soloists.
This is a huge work, and for many of us this is a once in a lifetime opportunity; we shall probably never get the chance to sing it again.
We shall be performing under the baton of Vasily Petrenko (the RPO’s Music Director, formerly of the Liverpool Philharmonic).
