Wayns Weekly 19th November 2025

A short one this week:

  1. Scarves, Handkerchiefs and Folders

Just (another) reminder that we our adding a touch of our festive gold to our concert dress for the Messiah, so if you haven’t got a scarf (ladies) or handkerchief (men) then please make sure that you have told your part rep or Sarah Jones ( sj@luminaconsulting.com ).

Folders can be ordered by contacting Miranda Austin ( sebandmiranda@hotmail.co.uk )

  2. Messiah Tickets

All nave tickets are now sold which is really good news. There are still aisle tickets which have been opened up so we need to sell all of those too. Just to point out that the this is not necessarily obvious on the booking website, so if you know someone who is looking for tickets, encourage them to click on one of the ‘Blocks’ where a ‘hand’ should appear.

  3. A Happy ‘Hello’ and a Sad ‘Goodbye’

Olivia Falconer (A1) had a baby girl in September. Her name is Aurelie and she is 11 weeks old. Olivia has kindly shared a photo of herself with Aurelie. Click here to see it.

This is our 3rd Wayns’ baby this year; Georgia Wyatt (S1) and David Green (B1) have also provided a future generation of singers for us! I think this could be a record, or a sign that the choir is attracting more, younger members.

The sad news though is that Olivia and family are moving to Salisbury and so she is leaving the choir.
