2. Ticket Sales for 28th June
To date we have sold just 65 tickets - we have to do better. That means even those who are not singing.
The flyer is good for sharing with friends, family and social media. Tickets are available by either using the QR code on the flyer or by clicking here.
3. Waynflete Obit - 11th August 2025
Thank-you to those who have signed up to sing in this year's Obit Evensong. The music will be distributed at the final rehearsal on 26th June. If you are not there we will mail it to you.
There is no recording of the Harold Rhodes anthem on the Internet. Here is a scanned copy if you want to have an early look at it

4. Party at Daniel’s House on Thursday 3rd July
I will be hosting Wayns summer drinks again at my house on July 3rd - the Thursday after our concert. Hopefully the weather will be better than last year and we can be in the garden. Could I ask you to let me know if you are planning to come, so I have an approximate idea of numbers? Please email me on daniel.benton@btinternet.com.
We will start at 7pm. Sarah Jones is going to organize a group to provide nibbles, and I will provide drink.
The address is Oak House, Park Lane, Ropley, SO24 0BE, which is in the middle of nowhere, so you'll need to drive or get a lift, but it's only 10 minutes from Winchester. What three words for the front gate of the house is "viewing.inclined.tentacles". As before, please park in our field, which will be signed, and for which the W3W for the gate is "theme.porch.lifeboats". The field is only about 10 yards from the gate for the house.
Just in case W3W is baffling, directions from Winchester are as follows: Take the A31 from Winchester towards Alton. After about 4 miles, you’ll get to a roundabout on the A31 at the turning to Alresford where the A31 goes from dual carriageway to single. Carry on along the A31 through the roadworks until you get to the next roundabout (about 2 miles) where you turn right (signposted to Bramdean and the Old Park Industrial Estate). If you get to a Shell petrol station on your right you’ve gone too far. After turning right, after about 250 yards there’s a tiny turning to the left, opposite some big barns, with a post box on the corner. Be brave and take the left turn. You go up a little hill and can see our house over the fields in front of you. Follow the lane for a mile and a bit (it turns to the left at Jefford Cottage) and you will pass the imposing iron gates of Harcombe House on your right. 100 yards after that you get to the rather more modest wooden gates of Oak House. Simples.
See you then
Daniel
