A fabulous Come and Sing!

The sun shone, over 100 Come and Singers turned up in good voice, and there was of plenty cake! What a lovely occasion it was for our Come and Sing at St Swithun’s on 4th June. We were thrilled that so many people signed up to join us, and a very jolly time was had by all. Enormous thanks go to Veronica Shaw for leading the organisation of this project so expertly. Thank you also to the merry band of volunteers , both inside the hall and in the car park, and to all who baked cakes for the tea time slot.

And of course the afternoon couldn’t possibly have happened without Andy’s calm and good-humoured direction, and George’s impeccable organ playing. Thank you to all for a wonderful afternoon and evening concert!
